The following are basic contest rules for any/all contest, both on and off air, featured on Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group radio stations including KQNG-FM, KUAI-FM, KSRF-FM and KSHK-FM. Each contest may have its own special qualifications and eligibility rules, in which case, a separate list of rules will be available for public inspection. Contests are open to all Hawaii residents unless otherwise specified by Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group of its affiliates. Must have a valid photo identification. Employees of Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group its advertising agencies, their affiliates, representatives, and their families, are ineligible to enter/win any contest executed on Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group radio stations. Contests are limited to one entry per person / per household unless otherwise stated. Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group, its agencies, affiliates, sponsors, or representatives, absolves itself of any liability, financial or otherwise resultant of any on or off air contest conducted by Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group. All winners acknowledge, as a condition of entry, that Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group, has the right to publicize and/or broadcast his/her name, character, likeness, voice, and all matters incidental here-in. All prizes (or applicable certificate thereof) must be claimed in person, and signed for by the winner, upon presentation of proper identification. (Drivers license, State I.D., Passport). Designated “winner” representatives will be allowed to claim prizes in another’s behalf, upon written and telephone confirmation.
All prizes are non-transferable.
Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revoke any prize awarded and to disqualify any individual it finds, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest; to be in violation of the Terms of Service of the contest, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner including theft or destruction or unauthorized access to the Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group contest phone line and any other behavior deemed disruptive or unauthorized by Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods. Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group will prosecute any fraudulent activities to the full extent of the law.
In the event two telephone lines are “tied together” during a phone in contest, the entire call will be disqualified and another call will be taken. Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group cannot award duplicate prizes to both parties in a ”tied together” situation. An example of a “tied together” call may be two telephone calls generated from the same location or residence. In order to win grand prize, qualifier pulled must be able to be reached at phone number given at time of drawing.
Once a prize is released it becomes the sole responsibility of the winner and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
All contest entries become the property of Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group. No purchase necessary to play/win. Void where prohibited by law. Rules are subject to change without notice. All decisions are final by Pacific Media Group and Pacific Radio Group.
Station does not assume responsibility if prize providers change rules and restrictions, and in the event that the prize provider is unable to provide the winner with their Prize(s). All Prize(s) are awarded “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Prize winner(s) will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the Prize(s) they receive, regardless of whether they, in whole or in part, are used. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize(s) is based on available information provided to Sponsor and the value of any Prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. The winner(s) may be required to provide Sponsor with a valid social security number or tax identification number before the Prize(s) will be awarded for tax reporting purposes. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued in the name of winner(s), or if a minor in the jurisdiction in which s/he resides, in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, for the actual value of the Prize(s) received. Unclaimed Prize(s) will be forfeited. Sponsor is not responsible for and will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen Prize(s). If the winner does not accept or use the entire Prize, the unaccepted or unused part of the Prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation with respect to that Prize or portion of the Prize.
Prize winner knowingly, on their own accord, has participated in a promotion put on by Pacific Radio Group, Inc DBA Pacific Media Group. Participant and or prize winner waives any liability towards Pacific Radio Group, Inc. DBA Pacific Media Group for any infectious disease caught or transmitted while participating in a promotion or after having won a prize through such promotion.
